Urban 7 Sneak Peeks

There are a number of sneak peeks on the official Disney Vinylmation blog. Here are the released images for Urban 7!

He's so cute!

Interesting.... I've heard rumors that he will have a variant that will be clear. I think that would make him pretty cool!

Cute, though I wish there was a little bit more splatters on it, there seems to be a lot of negative space.

He is so cute! I love the fish and the ripples!!

This one seems to be partially clear, but I'm still not in love with it.

Interesting and well done though, I'm not all that fond of juke boxes.

HAHA! LOVE! I would have loved a bit more with this zombi but I also understand not wanting to scare small children,,,

I like the placement of meatballs on the ears but I don't think I would have made a spaghetti vinyl in the first place.

Kinda pretty but it reminds me of the 80's. Though I LOVE the Hidden Mickey in yellow on the foot... I just saw this... darn it, now I want it!

I don't get this... and it kinda scares me... Does he really need to be missing teeth? And of all of the teeth he could be missing the two front teeth?!?

Ummm... ok

Pirates of the Caribbean Preview!

Here are some screen shots of the sneak pics for Pirates of the Caribbean vinylmation from the official vinylmation blog!

Captain Jack Sparrow was not included in the sneak peek which leads me to believe he is a topper or a chaser. He is more likely to be a topper because they normally do not release pictures of the chasers ahead of time.

I was really hoping that they were going to use more of the characters from the movie instead of the ride. I think they would be more popular if they were based on the movies. Unfortunately, they look like they are using the new mold. They don't look like they have Mickey's nose and their feet look like a separate part. From those released, my favorite is, of course, Captain Jack!

My Cruella De Ville Repaint

I decided to play around with the design on Cruella de Ville, so I repainted her! I changed the dress color, added a metallic green inside to her coat and of course gave her a fur coat with dalmatian trim! My design is on the left while the original is pictured on the right. I hope you enjoy!

Location Vinylmation

I love that they make special vinyls for major cities with Disney Stores!

New York

Interesting, I think I like the Statue of Liberty Minnie more. This seems a bit generic.

I love the tin! I also really like Mickey in the back seat!

San Francisco

Oh this is kinda cute. I love the Mickey head detail.

This is really pretty! I love how it's like night and day!

London

Cute, but why is the same image in each of the windows? Unless it is like you are looking out each window as if you were on each level instead of looking out the windows from afar?

This is kinda cool!

Disney Afternoon Goof Troop and Doug!

Goof Troop June 10 DisneyStore.com!

Release date to be announced!

I am ridiculously excited for both of these! I want them so badly, especially since I couldn't get the Duck Tales! I especially love Doug and his journal as the vinyl's ears. I really really really hope for other 90's Disney afternoon cartoon sets. 'Course they could have just done a series of blind box afternoon characters and I would have ended up buying every tray of that series...

Urban 6 Nine Inch

These two new Urban 6 Nine inch designs are to be released June 10!

Angel and Devil Set
Interesting, I like the concept but the angel matches her robe which I am a bit confused about. This now reminds me of those cartoons with Stitch with two devils on his shoulders instead of an angel and a devil. I would love a nine inch stitch with two three inch devils!!!

Moai Statue Nine Inch
I LOVE this concept! It would be awesome to make up a bunch of these with the five foot vinylmation store statues and put them on a beach or a park! OHH! Wait! Do that in one of the Disney Parks as a mini Easter Island!!

New Disney POP! Vinyls Figures

So Disney decided to expand upon their popularity in the vinyl toy world with POP! vinyl figures! Their first set has recently been released on DisneyStore.com with a selection of twelve characters that retail for $12.50.

Maleficent
My absolute favorite! She is so awesome; cute yet evil!
Buzz Lightyear
I feel like they took away a bit of his character's warmth with the flat black eyes.  I do love his uniform thought!
Mike Wazowski
An interesting square shape for our usually round friend.
Sully
I LOVE his expression and cute little body!
Woody
AWWWWW!
Cruella de Ville
She looks so very evil!
Jiminy Cricket
I think he would be cuter with a bit less cheek definition.
Mickey Mouse
He's so cute but how can he balance on such little feet?  It is interesting to see a Mickey with larger ears than feet.
Stitch
Why is his forehead so big?
Pinnochio
Our little wooden, eh hem, vinyl boy.
Snow White
I never knew she had such a square face. I really hope they bring out all of the princesses!
Tinkerbell
Hmm, she almost looks like a nice pixie.

And of course you can buy an entire set!

Definitely not a replacement for Vinylmation but a good addition to the vinyl collections! I would LOVE some create your own versions of POP!
